From 2005 to 2019,he was the New Orleans Pelicans’ radio play-by-play voice before joining ESPN. In addition to his work with the Pelicans, he was the host of The Black and Blue Report, a 30-minute web radio program that included exclusive interviews with players, coaches, and executives from both teams and covered news pertaining to the Pelicans and New Orleans Saints organizations. In addition, he worked in the broadcast booth for the Saints preseason television package and supported the team’s digital media department while covering the Saints.

From 2002 to 2005, he was the voice of the Tulane Green Wave, hosting radio and TV shows and calling the plays for the school’s baseball, basketball, and football games. Kelley worked for KFRU-AM in Columbia, MO from 1998 to 2002 before joining Tulane.
