Although he has previously called games for the Big 12 Conference, West Coast Conference Pac-12 Conference, Western Athletic Conference, Atlantic Coast Conference and Big Ten Conference, he now primarily calls games as part of ESPN’s Super Tuesday and Thursday Night Showcase packages featuring the Southeastern Conference.
Prior to joining ESPN, Farnham called games for the Mountain West Conference, the Atlantic 10 Conference and Conference USA for CBS Sports Network, which was formerly known as CSTV and CBS College Sports. He has also called Fox Sports West’s Pac-12 games.

In 2010, Farnham became an analyst for college basketball at ESPN. In addition to being a studio analyst, he works as a game analyst and frequently contributes to SportsCenter and other ESPN programs. He started as a basketball analyst for CBS College Sports in 2008, covering Conference USA, the Mountain West Conference, and the Atlantic-10.
Farnham and Chris Meyers co-hosted Fox Sports Radio’s afternoon drive show. He joined the network as a lead college basketball analyst and weekend host back in 2004. In addition to filling in for weekday programming, Farnham began his radio career in 2003 as the host of postgame shows for the Lakers, UCLA and USC on ESPN 710 Los Angeles.
Farnham began working for Fox Sports Net/West in the fall of 2001, covering everything from college football to the NBA, MLB, and Pac-10, Big West, and WCC basketball. In his ten years at Fox Sports Net, he was the recipient of two Emmys from Los Angeles.

As a freshman, Farnham competed as a student-athlete for UCLA, where he helped the team win the 1997 Pac-10 Championship and move on to the NCAA Elite Eight.
In addition to winning Most Improved Player in 1999 and Freshman of the Year at UCLA in 1997, he co-captained the team in 1999–2000 alongside Earl Watson. Farnham started games for UCLA for his final two seasons there; the Bruins went 16-2 in those games (14-0 in the regular season, with both losses occurring in the NCAA Championship). During his last two years on campus, Farnham served as the Chairman of the Bruins Athletic Council and represented UCLA at the Pac-10 leadership forum.
In 2000, Farnham earned a bachelor’s degree in history from UCLA. He was a basketball player in high school at Concord, California’s De La Salle, the same institution as ESPN’s NBA analyst Jon Barry. The Spartans won the California State Championship under Farnham’s leadership for the first time. In the summer of 2011, Farnham founded the non-profit organization Hoops from Home, which offers academic scholarships and basketball camps to children of service members.
