He left Fox 9 in 2014 April and joined WCCO-TV as the host of the Trending Now segment in the 5 pm Newscast. Matheson later joined KMSP-TV FOX 9 again in 2015 March and launched his entertainment show called “The Jason Show.” in August of the same year.
