Ukraine is not part of NATO, but it is part of the OCSE along with Sweden, Finland, and Switzerland.
Remember Chamberlain and “Peace in our time”. After Hitler took Czechoslovakia, he went on and invaded Russia. If the US had not helped the USSR with lend-lease, Hitler would have ended up in the Kremlin. We gave Russia arms to fight an aggressor. We are giving the Ukraine arms to fight an aggressor. Putin should be reminded of his own country’s history. If he wants to be a bully, he, along with the rest of the world , will be bullied. He should be reminded what happened to the USSR in Afghanistan in the 1970’s. After Russian soldiers started coming home in body bags, Russian mothers raised such a stink, that the USSR eventually withdrew.
China would love to make Russia a vassal state, but will only provide token help.
    I love your program.

  2. Hi Erin,
I love your show and the variety of guests that you interview. I write song lyrics and would like to send you my latest on “The Big Lie” I think that you will be amused. Thank you.

  3. Dan Babij ….Ukrainian American

Erin: more video from Diana Borysenko on polish border and how the poles are cooking food for the refugees if only I knew where to send it

You do an excellent job! I worried about you the entire time you were in Ukraine and so glad you are back . Your compassion shines through. Thanks for all you do.

Please ask your guest why can’t the US, NATO an EU take out the 40 mile convoy and Kremlin… Should be able to take them out in a matter of hours. US knows where key Russian weapons and command/control is. Take them out and we will be done. Stop the worry of Russia nukes. Take the out

  6. Erin,
    Please contact me.
Someone is impersonating you( your face) on a facebook scam.
They said you were an agent working for SSA and
    to get people money.
I have scanned all correspondness .

Why can all our journalists not see that this is Putin’s evil Unholy War.
Why are all our journalists afraid to call out the Russian Orthodox Hierarchy support of Putin in this Unholy War
Please call this out as an Unholy Crusade supported by the Russian Orthodox Hierarchy.
All guilty parties should be called to be Excommunicated (Putin. Patriarch, etc)
This will not happen but the thought and language may attack their minds.

  8. Hi there Erin…my wife and I enjoy your show every evening. I am writing to let you know I am a pharmacist, who collaborates with Jon Anderson (of Yes fame). I wrote the music and he wrote the lyrics. The video is about the Ukraine crisis with a link so people can make donations to the cause. The video is on YouTube (search either me, Glenn Arpino, or Jon Anderson), and the song is Song For Peace. We are trying to get as many views as possible so people can donate. Check it out! Many thanks!

I am surprised about he lack of information on this area. Maria “Poetina” is married with Jort Faassen. For details go to “Follow the money”. Those details are right, believe me.

    Hello Erin Burnett,
I watched your interview with Bill Browder. I know you are a competent journalist, but I find it disconcerting you can’t be bothered to pronounce Ukrainian names correctly. It’s not hard, they are phonetic.
    –MEDD-VEDD-CHOOK (not/not “Chuck”)
    –KARA-MOOR-ZAH (not/not “Murr-zah”)
I’m sure you would correct me if I called you YERIN BOOR-NETT. Please make a small effort to pronounce foreign names, whatever they may be. I’m sure there are people on your staff who can find a linguist to give you a 5-minute lesson. Thank you.

  11. To Erin Burnett, I think you are a good reporter. I also think you missed an amazing opportunity to tell the world more about a possible cure for Cancer. The Doctor you interviewed must still be shaking her head that much more time wasn`t spent on this headline. Aside from the 14 people cured of Rectal Cancer, why isn`t there an immediate group of 100,000 or more being tested? What is the cost, availibility of the drug, etc., etc. This could be the story of the century. Why did you just go to a commercial? Made NO SENSE. Regards, Bill Hoar, Lancaster, Pa. email–

  12. Hi Erin.. i watch you show each night and i think you are very truthful and talented journalist. I was watching some fox news the other night.. ( just for entertainment.. and to see how far from YOUR truth they really are) and i came across a story they did not to long ago where they reported that the Railroad board commission (whoever that is) and the Internal revenue service have been purchasing ammo at a break neck pace. the IRS alone had spent $725,000 of us tax dollars just this year ..2022.. on bullets.. my question is.. WHY??? do they know something we don’t.. is this bidens way of doing away with guns.. if he cant ban them then buy up all the bullets so you cant use them???.. I know it was from Fox take it with a grain of salt, but even a grain of salt needs to be inspected. Is this more “fake” news.. i swear i had never heard of the term “fake news” until trump took office. I just thought i would pass this along to you for possibly further investigating. Why would the IRS need so much ammo??..calculators…pens..staplers..paper ..yes..but 9mm ammo???

  13. Russia needs to secure a driving highway straight to Crimea so it can control its naval base there and what remains of the nuclear weapons and special equipment they rescued out of Ukraine after the Soviet Union broke up. The Islamic radicals in Turkey and eastward wanted to gain ahold of it. Russia could not remove it all onto ships to take to more secure locations across the Black Sea. It is not likely Russia will stop this war until they get a strong highway to Crimea, and surely will not want others to take ahold of Crimea which is Russia’s only naval base access to Mediterranean and surrounding temperate zone regions in the west. We do need to obtain and know a lot more details about what is really in Crimea, because it is totally of Russia’s concern without any way for them to step backward. A pleasant agreement to just allow them to drive safely through Ukraine to Crimea is not likely to happen for at least 100 years!

  14. Erin, I recall years ago on CNBC you mentioned you once did farm fence painting. I think that would be a good business opportunity for my son. I am wondering how you priced the job? Did you price the job per fence section, or bid one price for the entire job? Here in Virginia horse country, there are many farms in need of fence painting. Did you use a paint sprayer or use a roller? Thanks for any info you are willing to share.
    John Perry
