He grew up in Seattle and earned a degree in Journalism as well as Media Production from the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University.
After graduation, he served for KFBB-TV in Great Falls, Montana as a reporter. Tim was promoted to morning anchor as well as weather forecaster. Six months later, Pham was a part of a team that launched a statewide morning show with KULR-TV based out of Billings, Montana.
