In 1990, Burke started her career in broadcasting, working as a radio analyst for her alma mater during women’s games. She started serving in the same capacity on television for the Big East Women’s Games that same year, and she started serving for the Big East Men’s Games in 1996. She has also participated in ESPN’s WNBA coverage. Furthermore, Doris spent a number of years serving as New York Liberty’s principal voice on radio and television.
