This is still the highest in SEC and Florida history. In 1995, Doering was selected for the first team All-SEC and the second team All American. 1993, 1994, and 1995 SEC Championships were won by the team with his leadership.

Doering’s NFL career began in 1996 when the Jacksonville Jaguars selected him in the sixth round.
