Cavuto has thanked his wife for all of her help over the years with his health issues.

When his daughter was a toddler, the Fox journalist was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

Cavuto also suffered from multiple sclerosis.

Cavuto explained to the Chicago Tribune in 2005 how Fulling’s positive attitude has helped him manage the disease mentally.

“We just try to keep–not a good sense of humor; you can’t be funny about this sort of stuff–but I tend to joke about stuff.

“I joke with her that I use the illness to get out of putting out the garbage or doing jobs at home,” he added.

“Then she’ll say, “No, you can still wheel the garbage to the front of the house.” She has a good attitude about it, and I need that.”

Fulling told People in 2002 that her husband’s health issues have made him even more determined to keep moving, both personally and professionally.

“That’s why I make doubly sure to call and check how that game went. I’ve also discovered technology can be a wonderful thing.

“Between Skype and Apple Face Time, I always can connect with the family while on the road or on assignment,” he added.

“I know it’s cliche to say it’s quality time over quantity of time, but I’d be the first to admit, there’s no substitute to physically being there.

“Still, I also think kids are as perceptive as adults. When they see you’re making the effort, they see you’re still trying to make a difference.”

Cavuto is known for his hectic schedule, but he has not appeared on any of his shows since January 12, 2022.

  1. I really did not know who Cavuto was so I google to find out a little more. I ran across his name in T D Jakes, Don’t Drop The Mic, although it was miss spelled in his book I was still able to find him. What am amazing person with all the odds he faced. The article is great but there are many grammatical mistakes. Cavuto is mentioned as a she in the article “As she progressed in his career”, wow how does this happen in professional writing, in the book and this article. Spell check does not capture every thing so what about the human proof readers.
