As a Navy Journalist, he had the opportunity to travel the world on assignments that took him from the Aleutian Islands to the coast of Libya. In Adak, Alaska, Ken started his career at a small TV and FM station. Additionally, he has experience working at Subic Bay in the Philippines and on board the Norfolk, Virginia-based guided missile cruiser USS Biddle.
Wayne began working at KESQ in Palm Springs in 1985 after leaving the Navy. He continued from there to Chico, Fresno, Los Angeles, and finally his hometown of the Bay Area. Before working for KRON4 in 2018, Wayne anchored the weekday and weekend newscasts for the FOX affiliate station in the Bay Area, where his reporting won Peabody and Edward R. Murrow awards.
After leaving the Navy, he moved to Palm Springs in 1985 to work at KESQ. After that, he joined KSEE Channel 24 Fresno and began working there as a reporter.
