Bryan Norcross is a hurricane expert and television meteorologist born in the United States. As of February 26, 2018, he works for ABC station WPLG-TV Channel 10 in Miami, Florida, and formerly worked as a storm specialist for The Weather Channel in Atlanta.

He formerly worked as the chief meteorologist for WTVJ-TV (a NBC-owned and operated television station in Miami, Florida), where he rose to prominence for his role in the station’s coverage of Hurricane Andrew in 1992. Norcross later worked as the Director of Meteorology for WFOR-TV in Miami, a CBS-owned and managed television station, and as a hurricane commentator for CBS News in New York City.

During hurricane season from 1996 to 2007, Norcross was a regular on CBS’s national newscasts.  Norcross chose not to renew his contract with WFOR in June 2008 in order to focus more time on America’s Emergency Network, a private organization he co-founded with Max Mayfield, former director of the National Hurricane Center.  Norcross, a Miami Beach resident, has spent the most of his life in the Sunshine State.
