Originally from Illinois, before beginning her career, Kerry attended Clemson University and the University of Florida. Kerry served for television stations from Phoenix to New York City during her more than twenty years in the industry.

Kerry comes from WTXF in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to NBC 4 New York, where she anchored Good Day Philadelphia as well as 5 p.m., 6 p.m., Uh, and 11 p.m. Newscasts for weekdays.
