Kathy Savitt is an American business executive widely known for being the sister of Andy Jassy, the previous CEO of Amazon Web Services, Inc, and the current CEO of Amazon as of July 5, 2021. He replaced Jeff Bezos as CEO of Amazon.
Kathy has been part of almost ten companies, she is currently the CEO and president of Boom Supersonic, she has the titles of a wife, mother, sister, founder, aspiring optimist, and investor. She founded MWW Savitt; her first company in 1993. She got a job offer at amazon after serving at MWW Savitt for five years.
At Amazon, she worked as a senior leader for the Amazon marketing communications program. Kathy begun another company called Lockerz, it was a platform for sharing photos and videos and accumulating and spending Lockerz points, also called PTZ. The company was based in Seattle, Washington. Lockerz does not exist anymore. After serving other companies for many years, she began working at Boom Supersonic in January 2021.
