Her television career began in 2001–02 when she was chosen for one of the inaugural seasons of the reality series “Survivor: The Australian Outback” on CBS. Having avoided being voided out at the first Tribal Council meeting, she was a member of the Kucha tribe. After that, she had a winning run until episode five, when she lost once more. In the end, she was the only Kucha member left, finishing fourth overall for the season.
She then served as a judge for the 2001 Miss Teen USA Pageant. She hosted “The Look for Less” on the Style Network from 2002 to 2003, assisting viewers in finding fashionable clothing at affordable costs. Her invitation to return for “Survivor: All Stars” was extended, and she was one of two people to turn it down.
She had an audition to take Lisa Ling’s place on “The View” after her time on Survivor. Her agent encouraged her to go to the audition because she was keen to show off her competitive side.
