In the end, she was the only Kucha member left, finishing fourth overall for the season.

She then served as a judge for the 2001 Miss Teen USA Pageant. She hosted “The Look for Less” on the Style Network from 2002 to 2003, assisting viewers in finding fashionable clothing at affordable costs. Her invitation to return for “Survivor: All Stars” was extended, and she was one of two people to turn it down.

She had an audition to take Lisa Ling’s place on “The View” after her time on Survivor. Her agent encouraged her to go to the audition because she was keen to show off her competitive side. She had never thought of herself as someone who belonged “behind the scenes” and had no interest in working in front of the camera. Hasselbeck declared her retirement in November 2015, citing a desire to spend more time with her family. December 22, 2015, was the last day she worked at Fox News.
