McCammond also revealed the presidential schedule of Donald Trump in an article, which states that Donald Trump spent 60% of his days in “executive time” when he was serving as the President of the US.
She made it to the news again when McCammond made her relationship with TJ Ducklo, a member of the 2020 Joe Biden electoral campaign, public. TJ was serving as the White House Deputy Press Secretary under President Joe Biden.
Ducklo was fired from his post after he made some derogatory and misogynistic comments about a Politico reporter, Tara Palmeri. The comments were made during a phone call, and TJ also accused Palmeri of being jealous of his relationship with McCammond.
In March of the year 2021, Alexi was appointed as the Editor-in-Chief of Conde Nast’s magazine “Teen Vogue.” Unfortunately, a series of her decade-old racist and homophobic tweets resurfaced on the internet, and McCammond had to resign from her job. Alexi rejoined Axios in July 2021 working as a political reporter.
