Most notably, Karl hosts Baseball Tonight and has covered golf in the video game Major League Baseball 2K5 from 2K Sports. Karl provided play-by-play commentary for ESPN’s KBO League coverage in 2020.
He has been providing commentary for ABC and ESPN during the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, since 2006. In 2011, Karl expanded his annual schedule to include Little League World Series Championship games and the College World Series.
Additionally, he has served as the head of ESPN’s studio wraps for college basketball. Moreover, Ravech covered Tiger Woods’ pursuit of the Grand Slam in the fall of 2000 while hosting ESPN’s golf coverage at Pebble Beach, St. Andrews, and Valhalla. While playing pick-up basketball with friends from ESPN in November 1998, Ravech felt a sudden, sharp pain in his chest.
