In 1999, Jacoby made his debut on ESPN. In addition to being the co-host of Jalen & Jacoby, he has guest hosted on SportsNation and other ESPN shows.
The Jalen & Jacoby podcast, now in its seventh year, started out as a side project for the two under the ESPN Grantland banner. The podcast expanded to include a YouTube show in the summer of 2011 as it became popular and that eventually led to an opportunity to host a national ESPN radio show. From the radio program, Jalen & Jacoby expanded once more, this time into a late-night TV program. Later, they moved into an afternoon slot on ESPN2, where they currently air on ESPN at 4 p.m. ET.
