Callahan, an NHL player for 13 seasons with the Tampa Bay Lightning and New York Rangers, is originally from Rochester, New York. Callahan was drafted by the Rangers in 2004. In 757 regular season games, he scored 186 goals and provided 200 assists. In 121 Stanley Cup Playoff games, he scored 20 goals and provided 19 assists.
Callahan was a vital member of the Rangers team in 2011–2012. In 20 Stanley Cup Playoff games, he recorded six goals and four assists before the New Jersey Devils defeated New York in the Eastern Conference Finals.
