Pierre Noujaim Biography
Pierre Noujaim joined the FOX9 Sports Team in January 2018 as a Sports Reporter and Anchor. A true sports junkie, he can be found on the sidelines of many local sporting events as both a journalist and a fan.
Pierre’s extensive knowledge of the broadcasting industry began in 2003, when he joined the team at KHTK, a sports talk radio station in Sacramento, California. His love of sports and broadcasting quickly pushed him in front of the camera, and he began working as a TV sports reporter in 2008 at KJCT in Grand Junction, Colorado.
He quickly moved south to join the sports team at KCEN in Waco, TX, eventually becoming Sports Director in 2012.
He covered many events in his role, including D-1 football, Big 12 men’s and women’s basketball, and NCAA basketball tournaments. His time in Texas left an indelible impression on him, and he considers Texas to be his second home.
Pierre returned to Sacramento in 2015 as a Sports Anchor/Reporter for KXTV. He was able to cover the Sacramento Kings, Super Bowl 50, the 2016 NBA Finals, and the 2016 Stanley Cup Final while on the west coast.
Despite his California roots, Pierre is a huge hockey fan who is looking forward to covering more games in Minnesota.
When he’s not working, Pierre likes to spend time on the water, whether swimming, kayaking, or boating, and he’s working on his cooking skills.
Pierre is originally from Sacramento and a San Jose State University graduate.
