After Super Bowl LIII, Parry, one of the best referees in the NFL, retired. He worked as an NFL official for 19 seasons total, 12 of which he spent as a referee. Along with his 13 other postseason assignments, he worked three Super Bowls: SB LIII (head referee), SB XLVI (referee), and SB XLI (side judge).
