Aaron Moses Biography—Career (Wikipedia)
Aaron Moses was born on August 29, 1985, to the late Carolyn Moses. Aaron and his two older sisters grew up in a single-parent household.
Aaron discovered his passion for music at a young age, and he and his friends used it as a pastime. Aaron honed his unique ability to tell his life story through rap by studying artists such as Tupac, Maze feat.
Frankie Beverly, and E-40. Aaron was given the nickname Big E when he was 9 years old because family members said he reminded them of E-40; he still goes by that name to this day. His childhood was a more difficult road to travel.
Aaron attended five elementary schools while his family searched for a safe neighborhood to call home. With his father not present in the home or active in his life, he manages to find ways to encourage his peers that life does not have to be a disappointment all of the time.
Aaron was ten years old when he received news that would change his life forever. His mother was infected with HIV. For years, he and his family had nothing but difficulties to look forward to. On more than one occasion, his family brought in American volunteers (a local homeless shelter).
During his childhood, Aaron began to hang out with neighborhood boys who were frequently in trouble with the law. As Aaron grew older, he began to engage in activities such as drug use and sale, auto theft, and anything else that could help him pay his bills. He found himself on a path that appeared to be an unavoidable fate for men in his environment.
The now-young man of his household clung to his musical ambitions. Aaron had to drop out of high school during his freshman year to help care for his terminally ill mother.
Aaron moved in with some family members and formed “the savage boys,” a rap group of five guys. Aaron began to devote more time to reading books and studying God’s Holy Word. His rapping ability appeared to be improving as the studio session progressed.
In 2004, “the savage boys” were on the verge of breaking through the door of stardom. The group would have to swallow a bitter pill of reality after attending the International Arts, Music, and Film Festival in New York City. They were never contacted for an interview with an A&R representative.
Back in Louisiana, tempers flared and the guys began to go their separate ways. Aaron had had enough of countless fundraisers, free shows, and three albums.
Aaron decided that he was a solo Artist at heart and that going solo would be better for the industry. Carolyn, Aaron’s mother, died in March of 2006. Aaron described his experience as “extremely bittersweet” after witnessing firsthand his mother’s pain and suffering.
Aaron began to spend more time with God and realized he had some unfinished business in his life. Aaron married his two-year girlfriend in July of that same year, at the age of 20.
Aaron had obtained his GED by May of the following year, had founded HopeMusic and Hopemovies Ent, and had enrolled in college, where he is currently majoring in Entertainment Technology.
Aaron answered his calling to be a preacher in 2008, a dream he had always known he would have. Aaron has one child and one on the way. He is the first and only member of his family to go to college.
He is the first person in his family to own a home at the age of 25. Aaron adds, “By the grace of God.” Aaron is a full-time father, husband, evangelist, and entrepreneur.
Aaron does not wait; instead, he works for the day when God will allow him to walk through the door and do full-time ministry, films, and music while changing people’s lives for the glory of God.
Aaron’s debut solo album “Manifestation” was released on May 1st of this year. The album was released on a national scale by Hopemusic, Hopemovies, and Tate Music Group.
Aaron was recently named Student of the Month at his college, and the album has been promoted on national television. Aaron is a workaholic who lost over 80 pounds in preparation for the release of his album. Aaron and his wife lost their second son after 17 days of life in March of 2011, but they continue to trust God.
