Pam and Tommy Summary
Pam & Tommy is an American biographical drama miniseries about actress Pamela Anderson and Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, played by Lily James and Sebastian Stan, respectively, during the time when their unauthorized sex tape was made public.
The series was created for Hulu by Robert Siegel and is produced by Point Grey Pictures, Annapurna Television, and Lionsgate Television, and is based on Amanda Chicago Lewis’s 2014 Rolling Stone article of the same name.
The miniseries’ development was announced in 2018, and James Franco was cast to direct and play Lee. Hulu ordered a series in December 2020, with James and Stan cast as Anderson and Lee, respectively, with the latter replacing Franco after his departure from the project.
Throughout the year of 2021, casting announcements were made, and filming took place in Los Angeles between April and July of that year.
The first three episodes of Pam & Tommy premiered on Hulu on February 2, 2022, with the rest following weekly.

Stan was born in the Romanian city of Constanța. When he was two years old, his parents divorced. Following the Romanian Revolution, Stan and his mother moved to Vienna, Austria, where she worked as a pianist, when he was eight years old.
