Lawrence Billy Jones III (born December 10, 1992) is a Fox News contributor, talk radio host, and author from the United States.
He rose to prominence in 2015 when he raised funds for a pizza parlor that refused to cater a gay wedding. He is the Fox News host of Lawrence Jones Cross Country.
Jones became the Garland Independent School District’s youngest employee when she was hired as a student advocate. He ran for a seat on the school board for this district when he was 19, but he lost.
He served on the Dallas County Children’s Welfare Board for two years. Jones served on the Garland Parks and Recreation Board in 2012. FreedomWorks named him Activist of the Year in 2013.
That year, he was asked by Project Veritas, a conservative organization founded by James O’Keefe known for publishing deceptively edited videos, to investigate allegations of fraud among vendors who enrolled individuals in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act’s healthcare marketplace.
Jones organized a fundraiser in April 2015 for Memories Pizza, an Indiana pizza shop that closed after its owners said they would refuse to cater a gay wedding if asked. The fundraiser raised $844,000 for the family, which was split between paying bills and donating to charity and the owner’s church.
On The Blaze Radio Network, he hosts The Lawrence Jones Show. He previously contributed to Dana, a conservative television show hosted by Dana Loesch on Blaze Media.
He was named editor-in-chief of the conservative website Campus Reform in February 2018. Jones identifies as a libertarian.
